Description
Palouse Falls is on the Palouse River in southeastern Washington. It consists of two drops, the first one 20 feet unseen in the photo as it is up stream about 1000 feet and then the main drop into the canyon of 198 feet. The Palouse Falls are 17 feet taller than Niagara Falls. On April 21, 2009, Tyler Bradt successfully kayaked the falls for a world Record, measured at the time as 189 feet. I believe the record still stands. Height of the drop changes and pool change with amount of water flowing.
