Wallowa county is in the northeast corner of Oregon. Small towns Like Joseph, and Enterprise are the favorites of most visitors. As of 2010 the population was 7008 people. Summer tourist make trips there for the beauty of the mountains, hiking, backpacking, fishing, swimming and shopping. Yes shopping, Joseph has at least 3 bronze foundries cranking out small to large world famous statues. There are many small shops selling the locals handmade items too. And if you are looking for antique items you won’t be disappointed. Joseph is called the Little Switzerland of America. This photo is of the Imnaha area which is mostly farming, ranching and agriculture. I have several other photos posted the area under landscapes gallery

I have been very fortunate to live in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest most of my life. I became interested in photography through a Community College Class, but I am pretty much self-taught. I have been a hiker and backpacker in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon and Washington for the last 30 years, although a little slower now. I love to take photos while on these ventures into the mountains. The Pacific Northwest coastline is another amazing place for photographing.
